- Fabrizio's TEAM | about the guide
Leave Naples (or Sorrento) behind you and enjoy a full day tour exploring some of Italy's most wonderful UNESCO-listed sites such as the Amalfi coast and the lost city of Herculaneum. You will first head to Herculaneum (or the Amalfi coast first if you prefer), a wealthy ancient city destroyed by Mount Vesuvius volcano's eruption in 79 A.D. Today an archeological site, Herculaneum retains many buildings and artefacts from the Roman Empire such as the city council of the Augustali, the Public Suburban Baths and many objects of daily use including beds, roofs, and skeletons. As you wander through the ruins, your certified guide will tell you the history and opulent lifestyle of Herculaneum's inhabitants. At lunchtime, you will enjoy the local gastronomy in one of the restaurants nearby. In the afternoon, your guide will drive you to the magical Amalfi coast from where you will enjoy some dramatic coastal views. You will visit two of the most beautiful villages (you will choose the ones that interest you the most) renowned for their colorful architecture and impressive views but also all unique for their particularities: Amalfi's medieval buildings, Ravello's splendid villas, Sorrento's culinary specialities, and Positano's art galleries and white washed houses.

Born and raised in Naples (I am a real local!), I have been guiding for 20 years and since the age of 17, starting with some tours in Pompeii. I have a Master's Degree in Art History and a solid experience being a tour manager in different European countries as well as in the Caribbean sea. Today I can speak also Spanish, French, and English, a language skill I improved while living in Canada for 6 months. Licensed guide and driver, I enjoy meeting new people and helping them discover my beautiful city and its surroundings. Today I manage a small tourism company in Naples and the Campania, and I work together with another passionate guide named Giuseppe. Our goal is to make you feel at home in this welcoming region, so we designed unique itineraries to show you the best of Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, and Pompeii. I am passionate about the Ancient Roman Times, the Baroque art, the archeology, but also nature (I am a beekeeper during my free time) and its treasures. Something else about me: I love playing music (accordion, trumpet and frame drums) and travelling with my two children. Let me show you the authentic Campania region and tell you some tales that span millennia of history.

We chose this tour because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Fabrizio picked us (family of four, 2 adults and 2 teens) up from our hotel and we set off for the day. We drove to some of the best viewing spots to take photos before driving to Herculaneum. In Herculaneum he gave us TONS of interesting information of what city life was like before the eruption and guided us through ancient streets and houses of the city. It's mind blowing to think we walked on streets made over 2,000 years ago!! We also wanted to see the Amalfi coast so Fabrizio drove us, it was amazing - well worth the time. He brought us to a fantastic seafood restaurant for lunch and he was very thoughtful in making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the entire (full day) journey. I would agree with a previous reviewer who stated that our tour with Fabrizio was "worth every penny". We had a fantastic day and plan to come back to see more and when we do we will be calling Fabrizio ! What a great day! ILOVEIRELAND

Giuseppe took us on an AMAZING tour of Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast. We were a group of 10 and he worked with us ahead to time to create just the tour we wanted. His knowledge of the area is tremendous and his enthusiasm made the tour even more fun! He loves his job! He took us to a place for lunch on the Amalfi Coast that was WOW! Delicious food and an indescribable view. We hated for our day with Giuseppe to end. He and his driver gave us an unforgettable tour! Thank you, Giuseppe! JULINE K.
