A few steps from Marseille, discover the beautiful Côte Bleue of Provence and its charming wine villages. On board of your comfortable minivan driven by your guide, you will travel to Cassis, a charming fishing village. Arriving at Cassis, you will follow your guide in the small colorful streets surrounded by typical Provencal houses. Then, you will walk on the harbor and enjoy the peaceful authentic atmosphere. Your day will continue with the visit of a local vineyard where you can taste wine rosé, one of the specialties of Cassis. At lunch you will taste the local gastronomy in one of many restaurants of the city before climbing up a hill from the top of which you can enjoy breathtaking views over the town of Cassis and its surroundings. In the afternoon, you will be driven towards the famous wine village of Bandol. Along the way you will be able to admire the stunning panoramic views along the Crest Road (there will be several stops to take pictures). In Bandol, you will visit the estate of Bunan, meet the owners and taste local wine rosé. Your last stop will be in the medieval town of Sainte-Anne du Castellet, where you will follow your guide for a guided stroll in the cobbled streets full of history. Your guide will escort you back to Marseille at the end of the day. Please note: this tour can be adapted to suit your needs and interests.

ITINERARY
Your private day tour will start with a morning pickup directly at your hotel in Marseille. Aboard a comfortable minivan with your chauffeur guide, you will travel 45 minutes south east to the old fishing village of Cassis where you will enjoy a guided stroll and a visit in a winery including some rosé tasting. In Cassis, you will also discover the delicious local gastronomy at lunchtime, before heading to the wine-growing village of Bandol where you will visit the Bunan winery and taste some rosé wine. On your way to Bandol, you will marvel at the scenic Route des Crôtes and its stunning coastal views. Your day will end in the medieval village of Sainte-Anne du Castellet where you will follow your guide for a commented tour before returning to your hotel in Marseille with your minivan.

Originally from Lyon, I fell in love with Marseille (and with a Marseillaise who shares my life today) during a trip at the beginning of my studies; an important period for me as many things shifted unexpectedly: while I was studying medicine at the university, a serious motorcycle accident forced me to stay in the hospital for two years. During this time, I studied foreign languages (including Chinese) and I decided to change career to focus on my passion for travel. After travelling the world, I discovered that the greatest pleasures were usually the simplest. As a tour guide, I wanted to share this sense of pleasure with visitors coming to discover Marseille. After several experiences in local agencies, I decided to create my own company specializing in tailor-made tours. Today I guide in French and English in the beautiful city of Marseille and its surroundings. Provence is a wonderful area full of natural, cultural and historical treasures. Also passionate about gastronomy and oenology, I like to implement these themes in my tours. At my side, discover the best of Marseille with the eyes of a local; or indulge with olive oil and rosé tastings in Provence while crossing the lavender fields. A personal detail: during my spare time, I am a volunteer gardener in fruits and vegetables community gardens.
