Enjoy a beautiful day in the Southern French Alps, and discover some of the most beautiful landscapes of the French Riviera. With your professional guide, you will drive to the Var valley going North to the Southern french Alps and passing through canyons, waterfalls and mountain villages. From your comfortable minivan, you will marvel at the natural colorful canyons such as the Cians and the Daluis, carved in the tertiary era where the Alps arose. On your way, many spectacular stops will permit some great picture opportunities. At noon, you will stop in one of the local grocery stores to buy fresh local ham, cheese, bread, fruit and pastries of your choice for a picnic. The picnic will be held on benches providing a unique view of the French Alps, often covered with snow. The return journey will take you through other amazing natural canyons just before stopping for a visit in a medieval village with a draw-bridge from the 17th century.

Leaving Nice behind in a comfortable minivan, you will head to the Var valley going North to the Southern French Alps for a beautiful journey through canyons, waterfalls and mountain villages. You will enjoy numerous stops offering breathtaking views and you will marvel at some colorful canyons such as the Cians and the Daluis. At lunch time, your guide will bring you to a local grocery store where you will be able to buy fresh products to make a delicious picnic. On your way back to your hotel, you will stop in a medieval village and discover more amazing natural canyons.
