- Fabrizio's TEAM | about the guide
On this special tour, the whole family will explore Pompeii in a fun way. Devastated by the Mount Vesuvius volcano in 79 A.D., Pompeii is today a UNESCO world heritage site that hosts some exceptionally well preserved remains of an entire civilization such as the Suburban Bath House, the Forum, the Public baths, and the Teatro Grande. On this 2-hour interactive tour, let the kids be the guides and lead the way thanks to an old map of the Ancient city. You will discover a wide range of excavations using games such as clues, quizzes and riddles. With your professional guide, you will also learn about the life, habits, customs and jobs of the inhabitants during the Roman Time. At the end of your tour, kids will get some rewards.

Born and raised in Naples (I am a real local!), I have been guiding for 20 years and since the age of 17, starting with some tours in Pompeii. I have a Master's Degree in Art History and a solid experience being a tour manager in different European countries as well as in the Caribbean sea. Today I can speak also Spanish, French, and English, a language skill I improved while living in Canada for 6 months. Licensed guide and driver, I enjoy meeting new people and helping them discover my beautiful city and its surroundings. Today I manage a small tourism company in Naples and the Campania, and I work together with another passionate guide named Giuseppe. Our goal is to make you feel at home in this welcoming region, so we designed unique itineraries to show you the best of Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, and Pompeii. I am passionate about the Ancient Roman Times, the Baroque art, the archeology, but also nature (I am a beekeeper during my free time) and its treasures. Something else about me: I love playing music (accordion, trumpet and frame drums) and travelling with my two children. Let me show you the authentic Campania region and tell you some tales that span millennia of history.

Merci infiniment, Paola!

Fabrizio was fun, engaging, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He delivered a tour of Pompei that managed to keep an 8 and 9 year old (plus 2 adults) enthralled for all 2.5 hours on a very hot day. Cannot recommend this tour enough if you have children. Worth every penny CLARE M.
