I was born in Bordeaux and raised in a family of winegrowers. Studying and working with wine for the next 20 years – in our vineyards, at different châteaux and in selling wine - was therefore a natural choice. I decided that I wanted a change and had the idea of giving guided wine tours dedicated to Bordeaux, wine, tastings, oysters and French cuisine from the point of view of a wine professional. I like meeting people, discovering new cultures and developing personalized relationships. Wine is my big passion, I am certified WSET level 3 in wine since September 2020 and at home I have an impressive wine collection. And, as wine and good food go hand in hand, I also like eating. Apart from that, I enjoy playing tennis, travelling and I’m currently learning Portuguese.

This was our first trip to Bordeaux and the four of us wanted to get outside the city for a day and learn about the wines of the region. Our tour with Frederic was just what we had hoped for. He is fun to be with and extremely knowledgeable about the region and its winemaking. We visited three chateaus for wine-tasting, had a delicious lunch and informative tour in the town of St. Emilion, and came away knowing much more about winemaking than we ever expected to learn. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Frederic!

My wife & I visited France for the first time and Frederic started our trip off on an excellent note. With his background in wine making, he knew more than we had anticipated. He was very personable and entertainingly funny. He not only took us to some incredible chateaus for wine tasting but also gave us the best tour of St Emilion and told us of it’s rich history. Our hats off to him and we would definitely suggest him to whomever is looking for an unforgettable wine tour. Carlos & Stacy Dominguez Rancho Cucamonga, California

This is the second time that we have toured with Frederic in the past year. We have toured the Arcachon/Margaux in November and St. Emilion this past May. Frédéric has incredible insight, great connections, and a knowledge of the entire area to share with his clients. He is funny, patient and adaptable to your wants and needs. If we go back to Bordeaux we will not hesitate to contact him for another tour. We highly recommend him, you will have an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
