After your morning on the basin, you will go aboard your vehicle heading north to discover the Bordeaux wine region. Your first stop will be in the famous village of Margaux (thanks to its appellation Grand Cru) where you will have a lunch break in a restaurant offering daily a different menu composed of fresh local products. In the afternoon, you will visit one of the castles dating from 1855 such as Château Rauzan Segla, Château d'Issan, Château Lascombes, Château Palmer... You will discover the secrets of making wine, followed by a wine tasting at the property. You will then continue with a walk in the region, taking advantage of the superb panorama on the road of the wine estates lined with vineyards and historical châteaux. I was born in Bordeaux and raised in a family of winegrowers. Studying and working with wine for the next 20 years – in our vineyards, at different châteaux and in selling wine - was therefore a natural choice. I decided that I wanted a change and had the idea of giving guided wine tours dedicated to Bordeaux, wine, tastings, oysters and French cuisine from the point of view of a wine professional. I like meeting people, discovering new cultures and developing personalized relationships. Wine is my big passion, I am certified WSET level 3 in wine since September 2020 and at home I have an impressive wine collection. And, as wine and good food go hand in hand, I also like eating. Apart from that, I enjoy playing tennis, travelling and I’m currently learning Portuguese.

Thank you so much for the perfect tour. We participated in Frederic’s oysters and wine tour in May, and after all the activities on our trip, including a whirlwind time in Paris, this adventure stands out as the best thing we did. Frederic was a wonderful host and guide – his knowledge of wine is truly outstanding! Our morning at his friend’s oyster farm – Huitres Maleyran (aka The Broysters) – in Petit Piquey, Cap Ferret. The oysters were like nothing we’d seen or eaten before, and the most fun was learning that you can have white wine for breakfast. We had lunch at La Table de Nathalie and dined on excellent farm-to-table treats. In the afternoon we headed up to Margaux, checked out the chateau, then went for a tasting at the family owned, biodynamic winery Chateau Angludet. A beautiful morning, a beautiful day. We can’t wait to return next year for another adventure.

My husband and I had a wonderful day with Frederic exploring. We visited an oyster farm, a beautiful chateau, and chocolate shop in Margeaux. Frederic was extremely knowledgeable about the region and its wines, and we learned a lot while having a fun time. We would highly recommend a tour with Frederic in any part of Bordeaux.

We really enjoyed our day with Federic! He knew the best (secret) places to take us and showed a true appreciation for Arcachon and Bordeaux. Knowledgeable, interesting, friendly, and flexible. We hope that he will show us around St. Emilion on our next visit!

My group of 8 ladies just completed 2 days of touring around Bordeaux.Frederic, our guide was terrific. He made last minute schedule changes when necessary. Well in advance of our arrival, I asked him to get opera tickets for us. He bought the tickets and waited for our arrival to be reimbursed. Certainly beyond the call of duty, and very much appreciated. I would recommend Frederic to anyone wanting an excellent wine guide.
