Born in the United States of Egyptian parents, I was always passionate about art, history and culture. After studying french art in America and communication at the American University of Cairo, I moved to Bordeaux and studied oenology at the Chamber of Commerce. I also fell in love with Bordeaux and decided to stay to become a guide lecturer and show the city to the world. Since 2013, I am the owner of a walking tour company in this amazing city and I work with other passionate guides. My favorite topics are the wine-related tours as well as the historical tours and the Church hopping. Sharing my knowledge with people and also learning from them is what makes my job the most wonderful. Beside that, I also love running and I am also organizing some running tours for the more sporty visitors! Want a personalized itinerary? I would be happy to design a unique tour for you. Just let me know... ...read more

I was born, brought up and studied in Bordeaux. I now live between Bordeaux and Cognac surrounded by vineyards. After taking part in a guided tour of the château de Bonaguil when I was about 15 years old, I remember telling my mother, “I know what I want to do when I’m older! I want to be a tour guide!” I studied tourism at the University of Bordeaux in 2001, obtained my professional guide certification in 2003 and travelled the world, before returning to my beloved home city. Guiding suits my curious and sociable personality - I love meeting people from all over the world. To give you the best guiding experience, I spend hours doing research and hunting out addresses where you’ll meet passionate specialists and fascinating locals. During my tours, you’ll explore the historic center of Bordeaux, its wine regions and small Cognac producers. ...read more

I was born and raised in the Bordeaux area, few steps away from the picturesque village of Saint-Emilion and its endless vineyards. In my family, wine runs through the veins. My grandfather was a wine-maker, my brother manages a winery, and my cousin sells wine. Working in the fine food industry abroad (US and Latin America) for twelve years, I decided to change my life and career from marketing director to professional tour guide, coming back to my beautiful region to share its treasures. Passionate about meeting with people from different countries and cultures, becoming a guide was quite a destiny, especially after organizing several amateur wine tours for friends visiting from the US. Today I am never tired of showing the beauty, culture and bustle of the Bordeaux region. Holding a level 3 WSET (certificate in wines and spirits education trust), I can lead wine-oriented tours in the Medoc, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol and many other areas of the Bordeaux region, in Spanish, French and English languages. I also work with two other guides and wine experts, Laura and Laetitia. Exploring my region with visitors is always a new and inspiring experience. I invite you to follow me in the top wineries and discover the Bordeaux area through the eyes of a native. NB: My tours are always tailor-made to suit your needs and interests. ...read more

I was born in Bordeaux and raised in a family of winegrowers. Studying and working with wine for the next 20 years – in our vineyards, at different châteaux and in selling wine - was therefore a natural choice. I decided that I wanted a change and had the idea of giving guided wine tours dedicated to Bordeaux, wine, tastings, oysters and French cuisine from the point of view of a wine professional. I like meeting people, discovering new cultures and developing personalized relationships. Wine is my big passion, I am certified WSET level 3 in wine since September 2020 and at home I have an impressive wine collection. And, as wine and good food go hand in hand, I also like eating. Apart from that, I enjoy playing tennis, travelling and I’m currently learning Portuguese. ...read more
