WITH
Deborah | about the guide

Please note this is a late afternoon/early evening tour, starting between 5 and 6pm.

This private fashion and cocktail tour takes you into the heart of Europe's Fashion capital to discover style, glamour and understated elegance. The tour starts with a guided visit of the impressive Palazzo Morando in the city’s designer district. Bequeathed to the city in 1945, the former palace was once the home of Countess Lydia Morando Bolognini and is now a costume and portrait museum. The stately palazzo has retained its elegant 18th century architecture and houses an interesting collection of paintings of Milan. You’ll then window-shop your way through the top names in this designer heaven, as you find out more about humble origins of this sought-after location for the world's leading ateliers. The tour will finish with a flourish and a signature cocktail at one of the city's most exclusive watering holes.

Milan

languages :
Italien/Italian, Anglais/English, Français/French

I’ve been living in Milan for 30 years, but I’m originally from Scotland. I’ve always loved and been fascinated by Italy. I went to Florence as part of my French and Italian degree, where I met Milanese husband and I moved to Milan straight after my studies. I decided to become a professional tour guide because of my passion for art and history. I love showing people around Milan and sharing the Da Vinci’s Last Supper, the Duomo Cathedral, Portinari Chapel (hidden gem) and the canals, as well as the restaurants and nightlife. The ultimate job satisfaction? When people enjoy themselves and discover the “real” Milan beyond the sometimes austere, elegant facade. When I’m not giving tours, I like swimming, socializing, people watching, clothes and fashion. I’m also a big fan of films and TV series especially Sex & the City!
